HISTORIC GOLF LINKS. — A view of the clubhouse and the eighteenth green at the historic St. Andrews course, Scouana, regarded as the home of golf. Many important matches are contested here annually and recently the course was the scene of the Scottish open championship in the final of which J. McLean, the title-holder, was defeated by Hector Thomson, the boy champion of 1931 and present Irish champion.
