Dominion Meteorologist General situation—The present depression is moving slowly eastwards, and barometers are rising Over tbe Dominion with the advance of an anti-cyclone across the Tasman Sea. A slight secondary, however, is crossing the south Tasman Sea. Winds —Moderate to strong southwesterly to southerly of gale force in places, but moderating during tomorrow, veering temporarily to westerly in the far sooth. Seas (New Zealand waters)—High on the west coast of the north Island and south of Castiepoint. elsewhere rough. Western Tasman Sea —Strong southwest winds and rough seas, but wind and sea gradually moderating. Weather—Still cold and changeable generally, with further showers and hail on parts of the coast.' Mr F. L. Wooles Wind—Moderate to strong southerly ruling. Weather—Cold and changeable. But mainly fair.
