The Duke of York, in opening the new buildings of the Middlesex Hospital centre for cancer research, announced that two gifts of £50,000 apiece, one from Mr E. Meyerstein, a retired stockbroker, who has given £250,000 to the hospital in eighteen months, and the other from a London business man, Mr W. H. Collins, who had previously given the hospital £25,000.
