INCREASED EFFICIENCY By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. May 15. The Commissioner of Police, in an interview to-day said that steps were being taken to increase the efficiency of the force. The training depot was being renovated and would be reopened in the next few weeks. Lectures were being given at the four centres by men at the height of their professions, technical libraries were being established, additions were being made to the finger print branch of the service, and inquiries were being made overseas as to the possibility of detectives being sent there for training, but no definite decision had been reached.
