The Wainui arrived from Oamaru last evening and was berthed at No 2 wharf where she is to load to-day for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. The Storm is due from Oamaru today to pick up Wellington. Picton and Wanganui shipments. She should sail this evening for Lyttelton. The Holmglen is expected from today to call for Wellington, Piction and Wanganui cargo. She is to sail for Lyttelton this evening. The Port Whangerei should be here from Dunedin to-day to load for Wellington. Tauranga, Auckland and Whangerei. Mahana this Morning The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana is due from Gladstone, Australia, at 6 o’clock this morning. She will be taken to No. 1 wharf where she is to begin loading for Home. Hurunui To-morrow Advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Hurunui will not now arrive at Timari from Bluff until about mid-day tomorrow. New Phosphate Steamer During official trials in the Firth o Clyde the British Phosphate Commis sioners’ new motor ship Triaster at tained a mean speed of 13.8 knots.
