CHARGE OF MURDER
SEQUEL TO KILLING OF STOREKEEPER United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 10. 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 10. The long delayed coroner’s inquiry into the death of Paul Drasdorff (47), a shopkeeper of Waverley, who was shot dead on September 1 by an armed thief, was held to-day, and resulted in Leslie Warburton being committed for trial on a charge of murdering Drasdorff. The detectives gave evidence that Mrs Drasdorff identified Warburton in a line up of nine men at the gaol. Warburton had taken the detectives to the cemetery at Randwick where he indicated where a pair of rubber gloves and an automatic pistol were lying in the grass. Warburton denied he was concerned in the shooting of Drasdorif.
