MAY PREJUDICE UNITY OF EMPIRE United Press Association—By Elect-tc Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 9, 10.10 p.m.) BRISBANE, May 9. Mr J. B. Brigden, Director of the Bureau of Industry, in the course of an address, said that there were doubts whether it would be possible for the British Empire to hold together if it indulged in too much Government regulation, There was the prospect of complete unification or tire breaking up of the Federal system in Australia. Whether too many Ottawa agreements would break the Empire was another question. They imposed a great strain on the loyalty of one section of the Empire to another.
