ACCUSED FOUND GUILTY By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 9. Maurice William Baker, who appeared in the Magistrate’s Court, was found guilty with a very strong recommendation to mercy on charges of obtaining £2OO from a retired solicitor by false pretences. Mr Justice Blair remanded the prisoner for sentence.
