PRISONERS SENTENCED ■s By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, May 9. In the Supreme Court to-day, Edward Hansen, for carnal knowledge, was admitted to probation for two years. This was the case in which the Bench refused to adjourn the charge to October to enable the parties to be married. Thomas J. L. McFarlane, for perjury in an affiliation case, was sentenced to 12 months’ reformative detention. William Charles Gregg, for a false declaration under the Marriage Act, was fined £ls. William Charles Gunderson, for a similar offence, was released on condition that he comes ip for sentence if called on within two years.
