PERSONAL Misses E. and M. Blissett (Geraldine Road), who have been spending a holiday at Christchurch and Akaroa. arc expected to arrive home to-morrow. GENERAL On Tuesday evening a most enjoyable euchre tournament under the auspices of the committee of the library was held in the members’ rooms. There was a fair attendance. The prizes were won by Mrs H. J. Hopkins, Mrs W. J. Moore, Mr T. H. Langford and Mr S. McCaughan. There was a good attendance at the dance held under the auspices of the social committee of the Victoria Hall. Miss J. Davey played an extra. Mr W. J. Jackson was master of ceremonies. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss S Davis and Mr R. Davis.
