NOTES The Wingatui loaded yesterday for Picton. Wellington and Auckland and sailed for Lyttelton. The Storm is due from Oamaru on Saturday to take Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui shipments. She should sail the same day for the north via Lyttelton. The Gabriella left Westport on Tuesday for Wellington, Timaru and Dunedin. She is due here on Saturday to discharge* coal and should proceed the same day for Dunedin. The Waimarino is expected to arrive from Dunedin on Monday to load for Picton, Wellington and Auckland. Mahia from Liverpool The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahia arrived at Wellington on Monday from Liverpool via Auckland to discharge Home cargo. She was expected to sail yesterday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru to complete discharge. The Mahia is due at this port about Monday. Karetu from Sydney The Karetu was expected to leave Sydney yesterday for Port Kembla, Hcbart, Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Oamaru. She is due at Timaru on May 15. Port Hobart at Southampton The Port Hobart reached Southampton on April 23 from New Zealand. She left Wellington on March 17 for Southampton and London via Cape Horn and Dakar. Shipping Mystery Solved The mystery of the British barque, Andellana, which vanished one night from Tacoma Harbour, America, has been solved after 36 years. A diver searching the sea bed for a lost anchor found the hulk of the vessel, with 17 skeletons on board, at the bottom of the bay.
