AUDIENCE WITH KING CHRISTIAN By Telegraph— Press Association WELLINGTON. April 29. The honour of having an audience with King Christian X of Denmark was accorded the Rev. J. P. C. Ligaard. Australian representative of the State church of Denmark, the Lutheran Church, when he visited Denmark recently. Mr Ligaard, whose headquarters are in Brisbane, is a through passenger to Sydney by the Maunganui. King Christian asked Mr Ligaard to convey his greetings to Danes In Australia and New Zealand. Mr Ligaard intends paying a visit to Palmerston North to-day to hear something about the church work being carried on among his countrymen there.
