Oldfield (New South Wales) H. I. Ebeling (Victoria) L. S. Darling (Victoria) E. L. McCormick (Victoria) L. O’B. Fleetwood-Smith (Victoria) B. A. Barnet (Victoria) L. E. O’Brien (Victoria) The team will leave in September. The captain, vice-captain and manager of the team will be appointed in September. Warner's appointment to the chairmanship of the English Cricket Test Selection Committee, is the hope that Harold Larwood, the Notts express bowler, will reappear in the Test arena. “Reynolds” prophesies that Larwood will play against the South Africans, although it doubts if he will visit Australia in 1936. It adds: “D. R. Jardine took the full brunt of the Australian storm which Mr Warner escaped. The cleavage cannot be healed. It appears that Mr Jardine is lost to the game forever."
