DAY OF PRAYER
RELIEF FROM ECONOMIC ILLS By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, April 29. A special day of prayer will be observed by ail Anglican churches on Sunday, May 19, to ask Divine guidance in solving the present economic ills of the world. The Primate, Archbishop Averill, refers in a circular to the apparent powei-lessness of statesmen and economists to devise any remedy for bridging the gulf between production and distribution, and for alleviating the distress caused by unemployment.
