PEEL FOREST
LIBRARY COMMITTEE The annual general meeting of subscribers to the Peel Forest Library was held on Friday. Mr E. Foden presided over a fair attendance. The librarian, Mr S. W. Marsh, reported that 66 new books had been added to the library during the year. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £3/3/9. The election of officers resulted: Chairman. Mr P. Scott; secretary, Mrs E. Foden; treasurer, Mr D. Rutherford; librarian, Mr S. Marsh; trustees for Post Office Account, Messrs S. Marsh and D. Rutherford; committee, Messrs P. Scott, D. Rutherford, G. Boyd, E. Foden. W. Macphail, S. Marsh, Mrs E. Foden. Misses O. Stinson and M. Rutherford.
