Mr F. Lloyd (London) is staying at the Grosvenor. Mr A. Lee Smith (Rangiora) is staying at the Grand. Mr N. Wright (Christchurch) is a guest at the Grosvenor.

Mr E. C. Ruddenklau (Oamaru) and Mr W. McLelland (Dunedin) are registered at the Empire. Mr G. A. Shillito, of Timaru, has been admited to membership of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. Messrs W. P. Sutherland (Rangiora), J. M. Eales (Christchurch). C. Dix, F. R. Dix (Blenheim) are guests at the Dominion. Mr C. E. Palmer, M.Sc., of Wellington, has been appointed lecturer and demonstrator in biology, Victoria University College. Mr Palmer graduated M.Sc., at Victoria College in 1933 with first class honours in biology. He is at present on the staff of the weather bureau and meteorological office, Kelbum, and will take up his duties at the College next month.
