At Forbes, Walter Reynolds (aged 48), the father of eleven children, attacked his wife with a blunt instrument, and inflicted terrible wounds to her head. Her condition is critical. Afterwards Reynolds committed suicide by cutting his throat. It is reported that the wife recently sought police protection against her husband.
