James O’Neil (57) an unemployed gardener was found dead in a lonely hut at Asquith, in an outer northern suburb to-day, with two terrible wounds in his head. Apparently he had been murdered, as the police found signs of a fierce brawl in the hut, which was littered with broken crockery and blood was everywhere. SURRENDERED TO POLICE MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER United Press Association—By ElActric Telegraph—Copyrtght (Received March 25, 12.12 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 24. The police state that a man, whose name has not been disclosed, surrendered himself in connection with the death of O’Neil, and he was arrested and charged with murder.
