ENGLISH PLAYERS’ TOUR By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, March 23. The visiting English Croquet players played leading Canterbury players today on the United greens. Colonel Du Pre beat H. A. Penn 26nil. Penn did not get past the first hoop. A. G. F. Ross, the Canterbury champion, beat R. Poulter (England), 26-19. In the doubles, Colonel Du Pre and Poulter beat Mrs Maddren and Ross 26-22.
