SHIP ABANDONED
ONLY SUPERSTRUCTURE ABOVE WATER NOW United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 22, 5.5 p.m.) ADELAIDE, March 22. The Japanese ship Portland Maru, which was beached yesterday in a very leaky condition, is now so far submerged that only her superstructure is showing above the water. The crew have left the vessel. The Portland Maru is fully loaded with wheat.
