Concessions granted by the Board to the company will expire in May. , It is the intention of the Company that each shipment should be of a minimum of 1000 to 2000 tons. As a canal adjoined the end of the Company’s works at Sheffield it was thought that the voyage might be made from Patea to Sheffield. It was hoped to start at once with the work. The chairman of the Board said that shipments from Patea could not exceed 200 tons. Members thought that the Company should sent an engineer from London or obtain a report from a New Zealand authority. LONDON STOCK MARKETS British Official Wireless RUGBY, March 19.
