The Swiss Air Service and the Imperial Airways jointly haive inaugurated a new London to Zurich service. The Swiss Air Service is using a Douglas twin-engined monoplane, which will take 31 hours, while the Imperial Airways biplanes will take six hours. The aviation correspondent of “The Daily Telegraph” says: The British machines use 57 h.p. per passenger, compared with the Douglas's 100 h.p., illustrating the truism that speed costs money.
