DECISION OF STRIKING BUTCHERS

A mass meeting of unionists concerned in the abattoir strike decided to accept the recommendation of the Strike Committee and return to work immediately. This is the outcome of an order issued by the Industrial Court. The men must return by March 21. The president of the Meat Employees’ Union said no Union could stand against the Government, the Court, and public opinion.
