At the wool sales, 10,156 bales were offered at which 9279 were sold, also 801 privately. There was very keen and general competition for all good wools, which showed quality, and these were quoted at five per cent, above the previous day's rates. Other descriptions were unchanged. Inferior sorts continue to display irregularity. Greasy merino made to 18d per lb.
