CONCERN ABOUT FOUNDATIONS British Official Wireless RUGBY, March 12. The second reading took place in the House of Lords, of a Bill to preserve the foundations of St. Paul’s Cathedral, by controlling excavations for building purposes within a prescribed area. The Archbishop of Canterbury said that enquiries made some years ago revealed that the greatest danger lay in the possible weakening of the foundation.
