The Reichsbank’s earnings in 1934 totalled £11,000.000, and the profit £3,300,000. Despite engaging 2000 extra staff to cope with the foreign exchange regulations, a dividend of 12 per cent, was declared, of which one-third is compulsorily invested In loans.
