PRESERVATION OF AMATEUR IDEAL United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 13, 5.5 p.m.) PARIS, March 12. The Council of the French Tennis Federation empowered the representatives to the International Federation to oppose the Czecho-Slovakian proposal to permit amateurs to make films. The Dutch and German Federation oppose the proposal, as against the amateur ideal, but express the opinion that a lengthier discussion is necessary.
