EGYPTIAN MISSION
FOSTERING TRADE WITH GREAT BRITAIN British Official Wireless (Received March 13, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, March 12. It is understood that the mission of economic inquiry which the Egyptian Government is despatching to the United Kingdom on the invitation of the British Government will arrive in London on April 4. The mission will be headed by Hafez Afifi Pasha, formerly Egyptian Minister in London, and will consist of four other members and a small expert staff. After staying in London for a week as the guests of the British Government they will visit Lancashire and other industrial districts, which are of importance to Anglo-Egyptian trade. The objects of the mission are purely exploratory, but it is hoped that their visit will result in the extension of the already close and important trade relations between the two countries.
