Mrs W. B. Morton, Fairlie, is staying at “Carshalton,” North Street.

Mrs D. E. Ewart and Mrs D. Irving, Dunedin, are staying at the Empire. Mr and Mrs McQuillan, Gore, are staying at the Dominion. Mrs J. Page, Mt. Gerald, Is spending a few days in Christchurch. Mrs Faigan, Miller’s Flat, is staying at the Grosvenor.

Mr and Mrs A. L. Watt, Wellington, are guests at the Grosvenor. Dr. and Mrs A. Kidd, Waipiata, are staying at the Grosvenor. Mr H. E. S. Turner and Miss G. Turner, Christchurch, are staying at the Grosvenor.

Mrs Jas. Gibson, Sherwood Downs, is visiting her mother, Mrs T. W. Lynch, Church Street.

Mrs J. H. Hepburn and Miss D. R. Hepburn, Christchurch, are staying at the Dominion. Mr and Mrs R. B. Hutton, who were at the Dominion, returned to Invercargill yesterday. Mr and Mrs Simpson, Christchurch, are the guests of Mrs J. N. Reid, “The Manse,” Orari.

Mrs Appleby, Christchurch, is staying with Mrs E. J. LeCren, Evans Street.

Mrs R. J. Kelland and her son, Wellington, New South Wales, are the guests of Mrs E. M. Arthur, Trafalgar Street.

Mrs Dugald Macfarlane, who was the guest of Mrs A. C. Wigley, “Opuha Lodge, Park Lane, returned yesterday to Christchurch.

Dr and Mrs Gray Hassell, Wellington, who have been touring in the South Island, are staying with the Misses Hassell, Nile Street.

Dr. and Mrs D. H. Bett, Palmerston North, who are staying at the Grand, will return north to-day. They will leave on March 18 for England. Miss Amy Oliver, “Surrey Downs,” Pleasant Point, and Miss Daisy Sharp, Wai-iti Road, who are staying at Leith House, Dunedin, are expected home today.

Miss Florence Ann Saker arrived in New Zealand by the Monowai on Monday. She is the Indian headmistress of a Calcutta school and is on her way to Dunedin to study Home Science at Otago University.
