LUCKY ESCAPE FROM DEATH British Official Wireless (Received March 6, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, March 5. Lady Young, wife of the Governor of Northern Rhodesia, who, with Dr. Kirby, a Government medical officer, made a forced landing near the Zambesi River, fortunately came down in the only portion of the Sebungwe area free from the tsetse fly. Cars have been sent from Gokwe, 80 miles distant, but as the roads have to be cut for them, an aeroplane has meanwhile dropped provisions for Lady Young and Dr. Kirby.
