The correspondent of “The Sydney Sun” states that economic experts are of the opinion that, unless there is a sharp improvement in Australia’s overseas trade balance, her ability to meet commitments in the event of a bad season next year will be seriously threatened. The present indications are that the trade balance this year will fail by some £20,000,000 to meet current liabilities.
