JAPAN’S ATTITUDE STATED
DEMAND TO BE CONSULTED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received February 6, 9.55 p.m.) TOKIO, February 6. Referring to a possible amendment to the Versailles military restrictions affecting Germany as a result of the Anglo-French conversations, the foreign spokesman said that the Japanese Government would naturally expect to be consulted because she was a signatory to the Treaty. He intimated that the recent Japanese delegate to the Batavia Conference, Dr. Nagaoka, would most likely be the successor to the late Mr Adachi at the World Court.
