Mr G. C. Hoyt, who has been appointed assistant foreign sales manager of the International Harvester Export Company, Chicago, and Mrs Hoyt, arrived at Auckland from Sydney on Monday, Mr and Mrs Hoyt will spend some time in New Zealand before they return to the United States. “I think that’s sufficient evidence,” abruptly said a judgment debtor in the Magistrate’s Court at Hamilton, producing his relief work wages book. Defendant said he was supporting a wife and 12 children, and had been on relief work since 1932. No order was made.
