The Centenary croquet championships, with 1000 players, from all Australian States, from England and New Zealand participating, commenced today. The results included: E. Hunt defeated Mrs J. Lowe (New Zealand). H. Stratton (New Zealand) defeated Mrs A. McAdam. F. L. Hartnell (New Zealand) defeated Miss Buma Mrs W. N. Corbett (New Zealand) defeated Miss Craig. Mrs W. E. Caldow (New Zealand) defeated Mrs Burton.
