APPLICATIONS IN EXCESS OF AMOUNT British Official Wireless (Received January 6, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, January 4. The total amount applied for in tenders for £30,000,000 of treasury bills was £49,560,000. The amount allotted in bills at three months was £27,500,000, and the average rate per cent, was 6/1.64d against 6/1.06d last week.
