PORT OF AUCKLAND
By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, January 4. The tonnage of shipping that entered the port of Auckland in 1934 was the greatest that has been recorded by the Auckland Harbour Board during the last five years. In 1930 6853 vessels cf 4,440,651 gross tons visited the port, whereas last year the tonnage was 4,894,771, although the number of vessels was only 5839.
