TRIBUTE TO HEROISM OF NEW ZEALANDERS. —The first official act performed by the Duke of Gloucester on his arrival in the Dominion on Saturday was to visit the Cenotaph and to deposit there a wreath in honour of New Zealand’s war dead. His Royal Highness is seen ascending the steps of the Cenotaph, after which he inspected the Guard of Honour, which was unique in that it was composed entirely of men decorated for gallantry in the field. The scene at the Cenotaph was described as the most impressive and significant of the magnificent, triumphal entry of the Royal visitor to New Zealand.
