The Opihi completed loading yesterday for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth and sailed for the north via Lyttelton, The Waimarino is set down to arrive from the south to-day. She will lift Picton, Wellington and Auckland shipments before sailing for Lyttelton. The Parera should be here from Dunedin to-day. After loading for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Waikato she is to sail for Lyttelton. The Totara is expected from Dunedin to-morrow to load for Wellington and New Plymouth. She should sail the same day for Lyttelton. The Storm, on the Wellington, Picton, Wanganui and New Plymouth run, is scheduled to call at Timaru tomorrow. The Wainui should reach Timaru from the south to-morrow to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. Fordsdale at London The Fordsdale, which left Auckland on October 5 for London via Panama, arrived at London last Monday evening. She lost two days on the trip owing to being delayed at the Panama Canal whilst the American Fleet passed through. Narbada for Calcutta. The Narbada was at Calcutta yesterday, having left Singapore last Monday. She is to load at the Indian port, leaving about December 4 for Penang, Singapore and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. Rangatira Resuming. The Rangatira is to resume in the Wellington-Lyttelton pasenger service next Monday after annual overhaul. On arrival at Wellington on Sunday next the Wahine will wait over and sail for Lyttelton on Tuesday in place of the Maori, which will then be withdrawn from the service to be laid up during the summer months. Wairuna for Australia. Having discharged the Dunedin portion of her cargo from Pacific coast ports, the Wairuna sailed last Friday afternoon for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. She will afterwards proceed to Suva, Nukualofa, Apia and Vancouver. Personal. Captain W. Martin has taken command of the Marama at Sydney, relieving Captain R. M. Kane, who is now on holidays at that port. Captain J, L. Brisco, of the Kartigi, is now on holidays at Auckland. Mr W. Cole joined the Poolta as chief officer recently, relieving Mr J. Wauchop, who has gone to Lyttelton for holidays. Mr F. McMaster has relieved Mr R. Gardner as second engineer of the Maori. Mr S. H. Head is relieving as second engineer on the Waitaki. Mr F. T. Quayle has relieved Mr W. W. Burgess on the Wairuna for holiday leave.
