TYPHOON IN CUBA

HUNDREDS OF NATIVES KILLED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 18, 7.30 p.m.) MANILA, November 17. As fragmentary reports continue to come from the Insular provinces, it is estimated that between two and three hundred were killed in a typhoon which swept the islands in the middle of the week. Forty-one bodies were recovered at Luzon Island, on which Manila is situated. No definite estimate can be made as there are many islands from which no communications have yet been received. About 200 persons are believed to be dead in the Tayabas Province, where many were washed to the sea.
