TRAGIC END TO STALKING EXPEDITION By Telegraph —Press Association WELLINGTON, November 18. Accidentally shot through the chest while on a deer stalking expedition in the Tauherenikau ranges, Charles James Galliers, aged 24, of Wellington, died while being carried out of the bush on the stretcher. He was married with one child. A rifle was dropped by a member of the party when descending a bank and discharged. The bullet pierced Galliers chest and narrowly missed his brother who was standing behind him.
