TOWN CLERK REMANDED By Telegraph—Press Association WAIPUKURAU, November 16. Herbert Monteroy Tansley, Town Clerk, and Christian Mathieson Gronn, a relief worker, appeared at Court this morning, jointly charged with the thefts of sums of money amounting to £lB/8/9, the property of the Waipukurau Borough Council. They were remanded till November 23. Bail was allowed self £2OO and two sureties of £IOO or one of £2OO. Other charges are pending.
