THE BAY VIADUCT SHELTER

To the Editor of “ The Timaru Herald ” Sir.—Now that the Borough Councillors have decided to make the exterior of the Bay shelter more presentable, it is to be hoped they will give a little attention to the inside. That plank-like seat with a concrete back is conducive neither to health nor comfort. I would suggest a seat of the same type as those situated outside the Bank of New Zealand bus stops, also an enlarged timetable for the use of people whose sight is not too keen. The whole place should be well lighted up at night.—l am, etc., ANOTHER RATEPAYER. Timaru, November 15.
