WHEATGROWERS CLASH WITH POLICE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright MUNDARE (Alberta), November 8. Ten arrests were made following a pitched battle between the police and 3000 farmers over an attempt to prevent wheat deliveries to an elevator. The growers called a strike to protest bgainst the low grading and high elevator charges, and the clash occurred when a non-striking farmer attempted to drive a truck through the pickets.
