RESCUE TEAMS HAVE HARD STRUGGLE Bv rel<*grapD —Pi ess Association CHRISTCHURCH, November 9. After being in peril for almost half an hour, J. Baldwin, of Opawa, was lescued from the sea at Sumner this afternoon. Another bather who went to his assistance also got into difficulties. and two teams from the Sumner Life Saving Club had hard struggles in bringing the men ashore. Both were exhausted and had to be resuscitated.
