PLANNING CELEBRATIONS IN ENGLAND British Official Wireless (Received November 8, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, November 7. The arrangements for the celebrations in connection with next year’s silver jubilee of His Majesty the King’s accession to the Throne are all under active consideration. Sir Bolten Eyres Monsell (First Lord of the Admiralty) in the House of Commons, said that as part of the arrangements the King hoped to review the Fleet at Spithead on July 16. 1935, or, should the weather that day be unsuitable, on the following day. In addition the Home and part of the Reserve Fleets and certain units of the Mediterranean Fleet would probably take part in a review, and His Majesty in the Royal yacht Victoria and Albert, would lead the F'leet to 6ea for exercises on the day following the review.
