THEFT OF £2OO

LARGER SUM UNTOUCHED By Telegraph—Press Association ASHBURTON, November 8. A sum of about £2OO in banknotes part of a large sum kept at the residence of Mr M. C. Segers, of 17 West Street, Ashburton, disappeared during the week-end and has not been recovered. Details of the theft have not been disclosed by the police, but it is understood that the money v/as kept in a large envelope in a desk at Mr Segers’s , home, and that only a portion of it , was taken, a puzzling circumstance.
