PLAGUE THREAT
FIELDS SCOURGED BY GRASSHOPPERS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE, November 8. The Eyre Peninsula, South Australia’s vast wheat-growing province, is being devastated by the worst grasshopper plague within memory. In many cases farmers will reap no grain, and many others will obtain no more than feed. The grasshoppers continue to advance on a 250 mile front.
