By l'el«»"rat3P Prpss AssoolatJon WELLINGTON, November 8. The annual meeting of Messrs Sharland and Co. re-elected the retiring directors, Mr A. E. Mabin and Lt.-Col. A. A. Corrigan, also the auditors. Messrs James W. Jack (Wellington). A. and J. Grierson (Auckland), and W. E. E. Reid and Co. (Dunedin). Reviewing the operations, Mr Mabin said stocks were lower by £7lßl, but this was only temporary. The mortgage of £15,000 on the Auckland premises had been paid off and all the Company's properties were now free of liability. The report and balance sheet were adopted, carrying with it the immediate paying of a 25 per cent dividend on both pref. and ordinary shares, making 5 per cent for the year. FOREIGN EXCHANGES.
