POISON CONCEALED By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 1. A verdict that deceased suffered from mental instability and committed suicide was returned at the inquest concerning the death of Albert George Oppenheim, who died at the Mount Crawford Prison on October 8. Oppenheim had succeeded in concealing a phial containing poison despite a search in accordance with the police regulations. He told the warder who found him dying that he was out of work with no friends, no money and nowhere to go. He had been in a mental hospital in Australia for some time. In Auckland he had shown relatives two bottles, which he said contained poison. He told relatives that he intended to commit suicide by poison.
