NO BID AT AUCTION By Telegraph Press Association WELLINGTON, October 30. No bid was received for the State experimental farm at Te Kauwhata, where the Government established a wine-making industry. The farm was established over 30 years ago. The sale was recommended by the National Expenditure Commission In its report on State enterprises, but the proposal was subject to strong protests in the House of Representatives, and further protests were heard when the announcement of the Government that it was proposed to offer the farm for sale was made.
